The Snohomish golf team got quite a treat on Thursday. In the middle of spring break, the Panthers traveled down to southern Oregon and played Bandon Dunes G.C., Golf Digest's fifth-ranked public course in America.

It's not every day a high school team gets to play Bandon Dunes. Well ...

"Unless you're Bandon High School and it's your home course," said Snohomish head coach Joe Mutcheson.

Snohomish played against Bandon High School and a school from California, but Marshfield (Coos Bay, Ore.), which was supposed to play as well couldn't make it.

The Panthers play against Westside Christian (Portland, Ore.) today.
