The Snohomish County Master Gardeners spring plant sale is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 5 at the WSU County Extension at McCollum Park.
Get your garden off the ground this year with 4,000 herb and vegetable starts -- basil, cucumbers, peppers, squash, lettuce -- and more than 5,000 tomatoes.
Perennials for sale include hardy fuchsias, geraniums, hostas, shade plants, ground covers, trees, native plants and ornamental grasses.
Many specialty vendors take part in this annual event and the expert master gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
The sale takes place at McCollum Park, 600 12Sth St. SE, Everett. Call 425-357·6010 for more information.
