Sex offender moving into Marysville neighborhood

MARYSVILLE -- Police plan a public meeting for people to learn about a convicted sex offender who will be living in Marysville.
Glen Edward Thomas, 49, will be living in the 15400 block of 51st Avenue NE.
Thomas is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to reoffend.
He is described as white with gray hair and blue eyes. He is 5-foot-8 and weighs about 165 pounds.
Thomas was convicted of first-degree rape in 1980. He was released from prison in March.
The informational meeting is planned for 7 p.m. April 25 at the police station at 1635 Grove Street. The meeting also will cover information about other convicted sex offenders in Marysville.
