The first Humboldt penguin chicks of the season have hatched at the Woodland Park Zoo. The first egg hatched on April 3. When the parents rejected the second egg, it was moved to foster parents and hatched a few days later. Four more eggs are expected to hatch between April 16 and 26, according to the zoo. The chicks are not yet on exhibit. They are expected to join the adult penguins in the outdoor public exhibit sometime with summer.

If you like penguins, the zoo is currently having a feed the penguins feature. It's $5 for four fish and runs through April 29. Click here for more details.
