Dog causes traffic slowdowns on I-5 near Terrace

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE -- Traffic woes early Thursday evening on I-5 in Mountlake Terrace were linked to a wayward dog.
Around 5 p.m., a dog was reported running around the highway in the area of 236th Street SW, said trooper Keith Leary with the Washington State Patrol.
There have been similar reports about dogs in that area over the past few days, he said.
Troopers responded to make sure the dog stayed out of traffic. Transportation cameras showed heavy traffic in that area for awhile afterward.
