Meadowdale sports moved due to threat

Games and matches involving the Meadowdale High School baseball, girls tennis and softball teams were moved on Friday after classes were cancelled due to a threat against the school.

Originally slated to play at Meadowdale H.S., the Mavericks baseball and girls tennis teams will instead travel to Lynnwood H.S. to take on their crosstown rivals. The Meadowdale softball team will play Shorewood at Meridian Park in Shoreline instead of Meadowdale H.S.

Classes at Meadowdale High School were cancelled Friday after police learned that somebody used the internet to make threats focused on the Lynnwood campus.
