Song of the week: 'Hold On' by Alabama Shakes

In honor of the Sasquatch! Music Festival selling out last week it feels like a good time to dip into their lineup for the song of the week. So many choices, how do you pick just one? Alabama Shakes made it easy on me with this week's release of their new album Boys & Girls.

The Song is “Hold On” and is the first track on the new album. I love it when a band sets the bar high early and opens an album with a hit.

I was aware of Alabama Shakes before, but with the release of Boys & Girls they are quickly rising on my list of “Must See Bands” at Sasquatch. If you make it out to the Gorge on Memorial Day weekend you can find me front and center when they take the stage.

If you like this song then go get the album. It's more of the same and I can't stop listening to it.
