The UW football team's freshman class of 2008 came into a forgettable 0-12 season and, for many of them, it didn't get much better. Here is a look at that 26-man group -- the last class recruited by former coach Tyrone Willingham:
QB Dominique Blackman
Didn't qualify at UW, went to junior college and Old Dominion before landing at Idaho, where he's battling for the starting job in the fall.
RB Demitrius Bronson
Former Kentwood star transferred to Eastern Washington after sophomore year.
WR Cody Bruns
Will be a senior in the fall; redshirted last year after the death of his father.
OL Allen Carroll
Left the team in the spring of 2009, went to junior college and is now at UNLV.
RB Terrance Dailey
Supposed to compete for starting job after solid freshman year in 2008, but left team the following spring and ended up at Sacramento State.
RB Johri Fogerson
Injuries and a high-profile off-the-field issue slowed his progress, although there is a remote chance he'll be brought back in the fall.
RB David Freeman
Earned a starting job late in 2008 but was one of several players to transfer after Steve Sarkisian's arrival the next fall; he's now at San Jose State.
S Justin Glenn
Will be senior in the fall; Kamiak High product is competing for starting job at free safety.
CB Tony Gobern
Will be senior in the fall; saw his most extensive action during 2012 season when he played in all 13 games and was part of the rotation at CB.
OL Mykenna Ikehara
Was starting guard in 2009, but knee injuries ended his career prematurely.
WR Jermaine Kearse
One of the most productive receivers in recent UW memory, he played out his eligibility last fall and could be NFL draft pick later this week.
OL Senio Kelemete
A likely NFL draft pick later this week, he thrived at UW after switching from defense to offense in 2009.
QB Luther Leonard
Made switch to WR, rarely saw playing time and decided not to come back for senior year.
CB Adam Long
Will be a senior in the fall; started six games in 2009, but a knee injury kept him out last season.
LB Kurt Mangum
After the 2010 season, he transferred to Howard; he's now a starting linebacker for the Bison.
TE Kavario Middleton
Ballyhooed recruit was kicked off the team after sophomore season and is now at Montana.
DT Craig Noble
A neck injury ended his career prematurely after he struggled to find a role for two seasons at UW.
RB Chris Polk
Record-breaking running back is expected to be one of the top five or six halfbacks drafted this week.
WR Jordan Polk
Showed promise early in his career but eventually left team.
LB Bradly Roussel
New Orleans native left the team after his freshman year at UW; spent some time at Northwestern (La.) State.
OL Drew Schaefer
Will be senior in the fall; entering third season as Huskies' starting center.
DT Alameda Ta'amu
Despite disappointing senior season last fall, he's expected to be an NFL draft pick later this week.
WR Vince Taylor
Decided to leave team after 2009 season; spent some time at Montana but no longer there.
OL Terence Thomas
Injuries ended his career after two seasons at UW.
DE Everette Thompson
Played four seasons at UW and ended up being a key figure on the Huskies' defensive line
S Greg Walker
Made bigger impact in classroom than on field, where he played special teams for three years and decided not to come back this fall.
QB Dominique Blackman
