Everett bowler competes at national tourney
The ITC featured the top 16 teams in the country. Midland posted a 2-2 record in the tournament, falling one victory shy of reaching the quarterfinals.
Plunkett, a junior, was one of the team's major contributors. He entered the ITC with a 200 average over 53 games.
With the Warriors losing only one bowler from this year's team, coach JJ Mastny said his team should be a national contender again next season.
"The experience they gained will make them a real threat next year," Mastny said in a press release.
