An all day trip to possibly see red-naped sapsucker, Northern goshawk, calliope hummingbird, Western bluebird, mountain bluebird, magpie, vesper sparrow and Cassin's finch. Pack a lunch. May 22, Smith and Spencer Islands: Meet at 8 a.m. at Langus Riverfront Park, Everett. Go north on Highway 529 (Broadway) over the Snohomish River; turn right onto 28th Place NE. Follow signs to park; parking lot under I-5, just past the shell house and Everett Animal Shelter. Should see waterfowl and raptors. Lots of walking on Langus Riverfront Trail. Pack a lunch.
