Arlington: Free concert Friday
A free community concert of old time fiddle music is set for 7 p.m. Friday at the Sisco Heights Community Club, 13527 99th Ave. NE.

Bothell: Sustainability education fair planned
Bothell's sustainability fair is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in two different spots.
It's the city's first year hosting "Sustainamania," a free event, said Sabrina Combs, the city's recycling and public services projects administrator.
"It is a great family event for all," she said.
There will be all sorts of activities and displays related to sustainability, including live goats and chickens, she said.
The festivities are split between the Public Works Operations Center at 21233 20th Ave. SE, and Centennial Park, 208th Street Southeast. Shuttle service will be available between locations.

Camano Island: Police fundraiser
The Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation plans a second annual chili feed and fundraiser later this month.
The event is set for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 26 at the Camano Multi-Purpose Center, 141 NE Camano Drive.
The cost is $8 for adults and $2 for children under 10. Food will include chili and fixings, hot dogs and fixings, salad, chips, dessert and a drink.
There will be door prizes, live music and police vehicles on display.
The foundation supports Camano Island police personnel, citizen police volunteers and park rangers.
Marysville: Testing for homeschoolers
The Bridges to Learning Center in Marysville is offering California Achievement Tests for homeschooling students.
The tests include science, social studies, and study skills. Testing is held over three days and an itemization of errors and conferencing with a certified teacher is available on the fourth day.
The testing schedule for fourth through 12th grade is set from 9 a.m. to noon June 5-7 at Marysville United Methodist Church. The cost is $35 with a parent helping to score the tests on the fourth day. It costs $10 more for the teacher to score the test. Registration deadline is May 31.

The Washington State Patrol is inviting the community to read information and news releases previously provided solely to media.;http://http://tinyurl.com/bothsust[URL]
The updates are organized by region, and anyone can subscribe online. Updates include traditional information about events and programs, in addition to memos about serious-injury and fatal collisions. People can pick and choose what they're interested in, and update their settings if their preferences change.
