It's the fourth year in a row that LaLone will be going to the state tournament and after two runner-up finishes over the past two years the Spartans player is looking for her first state title.
Marysville Pilchuck's Sarah Tuemmler beat Myint-Zu Kyaw for third place and the Edmonds-Woodway's doubles team of Hanna Rehnfeldt and Mikala Valdez fought their way through the consolation bracket to take third. Both third-place finishers will play the Kingco third-place finishers at 3 p.m. Friday at Jackson H.S. for the final state tournament berth.
