MARYSVILLE -- A SWAT team was called to an apartment complex early Saturday morning to force a man out his ex-girlfriend's home, according to The Herald's news partner, KIRO-7 TV.
Residents at the Westwood Crossing Apartments building on Cedar Avenue were evacuated and police officers were on the scene for about five hours, KIRO reported.
The man, who is in his mid-20s, was reportedly upset about a breakup. He waited outside the woman's apartment and when she came home followed her inside.
He surrendered after a remote-controlled robot from the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office went into the apartment and opened the front door.
Police told KIRO the man could charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment.
