MARYSVILLE -- A vacant home in Marysville was destroyed by fire Thursday night. The fire is being investigated as arson.
A call came in around 10:40 p.m. that the house was on fire in the 1100 block of 6th St., Marysville fire marshal Tom Maloney said.
Drivers on I-5 passing Marysville reported seeing the blaze from the freeway. The investigation was turned over to the Marysville Police Department, Maloney said.
