Deputies didn't have to look far.
The Snohomish-area man, 33, already was in the Snohomish County Jail on unrelated warrants.
On May 7, a deputy had stopped the suspect for speeding on U.S. 2 when the man allegedly backed over the deputy and drove off.
The deputy received medical treatment at a local hospital and was released the same day, sheriff's office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
A week later, the suspect was arrested on the unrelated warrants.
He was identified through calls that came into the sheriff's office tip line after surveillance footage of the suspect was published by the media, Ireton said.
