Sno-King Community Chorale: The annual Ticket to Broadway concert features guest artists the Barney McClure Trio and the Fifth Avenue, a quartet. "Monumental Russian Choral Work": The Seattle Choral Co. ends its 30th concert season with two performances in Seattle of Sergei Rachmaninoff's extended choral masterpiece "Vespers, Op. 37." Concert-goers are invited to arrive one hour before the start of the program because docents will be on hand to provide information and exhibits about the concert. Also before the concert begins, short choral pieces will be presented as a prelude to the Rachmaninoff. They are: "Lumina Lina (Joyful Light)" by Romanian composer Mircea Valeriu Diaconescu; "Eonia" by John Tavener and "Three Sacred Choruses" by Alfred Schnittke; Rachmaninoff's "Vespers" will be presented at 8 p.m. June 8 and 9 at Saint Mark's Cathedral, 1245 10th Ave. E, Seattle.
