The events, which take place on the second Saturday of the month through September, give people a chance to taste local wines, visit merchants and enjoy summer evenings on the river.
Downtown merchants host the wine tastings in their stores.
Wine tastings cost $8 a person, or $5 in advance at www.historicdowntownsnohomish.org. The fee covers five tastings. Additional tastes can be purchased for $1. Bring your own glass.
"Last year we tested our low-cost model just to see if we could attract new visitors to downtown," said Debbie Carlson-Gould, a spokeswoman for Historic Downtown Snohomish. "It was so successful we had over 250 people by the final wine walk in September."
This year's events are scheduled for June 9, July 14, Aug. 11 and Sept. 8.
