FAIRBANKS, Alaska -- Three bison that escaped from a North Pole farm two weeks ago are no longer on the lam.
The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner says the bison were rounded up Thursday.
A fourth one is still on the loose.
The three made it a few miles to the grassy Chena Flood Control Project, where they were first spotted Wednesday afternoon. It was the first time anyone had seen them since they escaped from a nearby farm May 24.
The bison were herded into a fenced compound by workers from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on four-wheelers.
Owner Deb Cotton hopes the old bull will show up looking for his herdmates.
Cotton is trying to figure out how to get the bison back to her farm.
