Learn kayaking at Silver Lake classes

Everett Parks and Recreation is hosting a series of classes to teach people about kayaking.

The classes take advantage of the department's sit-on-top kayaks and are scheduled at Silver Lake.

Kids and parents can learn how to use these fun, small boats.

Kids Kayak: For children ages 7 to 12, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 10. Registration is $20.

Sit-on Top Kayaking at Silver Lake: For children ages 8 to 13 with a participating adult, noon to 1:30 p.m. July 15. Registration is $24 for adult, $19 for youth.

Silver Lake Parent and Child Kayaking: For children 7 to 13 with a participating adult, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 15. Registration is $24 for adult, $19 for youth.
