OK, the state is out; way to go

So, all you Tea Partiers and Republicans got your wish on "small government" with your kill-the-liquor-stores ballot.
How do you like it? Prices are $7-$10 higher, the selection is smaller and now you have to deal with the fools who don't know what bar codes are. Workin' out, huh?
The popular argument is, "Oh, wait 'til it settles down, prices will drop." Wrong. I have unflagging faith in the jerk businessmen in this state to continue their greed. Once the profit margin settles in, nothing short of severe physical pain will change it. You folks didn't want an income tax; guess what? Ersatz income tax has arrived.
The $29.95 bottle of bourbon I like is now $35.99 at Safeway. At Albertson's that same fifth is $42.99. That bourbon will never see $29.95 again. It will never go below $35.99 at that grocery store. Once again, I have unflagging faith in the greed and avarice of the businessmen in this state and country. When you get used to paying the absurd prices it's now in stone.
But wait, you say it's taxes? The liquor stores had the breakdown of the price posted on their entry door. Didn't look lopsided to me. But, enter the Tea Party. Ready at a moment's notice to fight the windmills in their mind. You people messed up.
