BOTHELL -- A man was found hiding under a pile of clothes Monday after allegedly assaulting his father and breaking into a home as he tried to run from police.

The suspect's father contacted police around 2 p.m. Monday after his son allegedly punched him in the face, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

The Bothell area man, 32, was arrested for investigation of assault and burglary. He also had outstanding warrants for assault, burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies tracked him with the help of witnesses to a home on the 2500 block of 191st St SE.

Deputies asked the suspect to surrender several times.

After getting no response, they entered the house with a police dog. They found the man hiding under a pile of clothes.
