Hot fashions will be on display along with hot rods, rare classics and muscle cars at the fifth annual Alderwood-Terrace Rotary Concours d'Elegance at the Wood.
Two local designer companies, Lucy Loves Ethel and MAC Fashion House, will strut their styles June 23 on the 18th fairway of the Lynnwood Golf Course.
Palazzo pants, jersey skirts and jean-style leggings are among the garments of the Lucy Loves Ethel line. The company uses dominant fabrics such as micropoly/lycra and Dryflex to create clothes that are confortable and can breathe. The pant styles are versatile for a variety of shoes and one of the more popular skirts also can be worn as a dress.
Seattle designer Carlisia Minnis of MAC Fashion House creates all her fashions from sexy swimsuits to evening gowns. Her successes can be seen in magazines, fashion shows and at nightclubs.
During the four-hour car show event, the audience can see three fashion shows.
There is no charge though donations are accepted. The event is sponsored by the Rotary Club's Foundation, which benefits activities for youngsters.
The fashion show is part of the Concours d'Elegance at the Wood, a premier car show that features 60 hand-chosen cars, including a 1951 Blower Bentley Special and a 1978 Frisbee Lola, a single seat Can-Am racing car.
The car and fashion show will run from 1 to 5 p.m. June 23 at the Lynnwood Golf Course, 20200 68th Ave. W, Edmonds.
