All aboard for Father’s Day at Lake Whatcom Railway

Here's a good way for daddy -- or husband -- to sit back and put his feet up on Father's Day.
The Lake Whatcom Railway is offering scenic train rides that are a bargain for families looking for a way to spend the day before Father's Day riding the rails.
The Father's Day Train Ride takes place at noon Saturday.
Riders will trael in a full-size antique train car of the Lake Whatcom Railway at Wickersham. The 90-minute trip leaves from Sedro-Woolley in Skagit County.
There will be a coffee-shop car and live banjo music.
Dads ride half-price but must be accompanied by a full-fare ticket holder. Fare is $20 for adults and $10 for children. Kids 2 and under ride free.
Advance ticket purchase is recommended by reserving tickets through the Bellingham Railway Museum at 360-393-7540 or email brm@integra.net.
For directions or more information call 360-595-2218 or go to www.lakewhatcom railway.com.
