Seems Like Yesterday
Dr. Charles W. Guildner, an anesthetist, was to speak about cardiac arrest at meeting tomorrow of the Kiwanis Club of Everett. Also, Evergreen Kiwanis Club members would hear Lloyd Meeds explain his duties as county prosecuting attorney.
Two Everett men were among those graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. They were Robert R. Dietman, son of Robert R. Dietman Sr., and Richard Allen Wendt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Wendt.
25 years ago (1987)
"Doris Wentworth Day" was held in the Snohomish School District when staffers staged a surprise luncheon and coffee hour to honor the longtime special education teacher and coordinator of special education and foreign exchange student programs.
The Rev. John Snyder was the new pastor at Snohomish Praise Center. He was a graduate of Western Washington University, a Navy veteran, and had taught school for six years in Tumwater before entering the ministry. Snyder also was a graduate of Northwest College Kirkland and came here from a church in Santa Fe, N.M.
