Go fishing: The first-ever sockeye fishery on the lower Skagit River opens Saturday morning to a three-fish limit and a whole lot of interest. Shop for art, garage sale style: Shop for great deals at the Artists Garage Sale at the Schack Art Center in Everett on Saturday. More than 100 artists will offer old and new stock and supplies -- including watercolors, oils, pastels, acrylics, glass, found objects, sculpture, ceramics, photography and garden art -- at bargain prices. The Lake Whatcom Railway is offering scenic train rides that are a bargain for families looking for a way to spend the day before Father's Day riding the rails.
