1st Annual Mavericks Shootout this weekend

The first annual Maverick Shootout boys basketball tournament is set for this weekend at Meadowdale High School. There will be two division -- varsity and junior varsity -- and includes a number of Wesco teams.

Here's a list of the schools participating: Varsity-Meadowdale, Oak Harbor, Mariner, Lake Stevens, Nathan Hale, Everett, Shorecrest, Bishop Blanchet, Edmonds-Woodway, Cascade, Glacier Peak and Archbishop Murphy. Junior Varsity-Meadowdale, Archbishop Murphy, Skyline, Cascade, Nathan Hale, Lake Stevens, Oak Harbor, Burlington-Edison, Kings 1, Jackson, Marysville Pilchuck, Kings 2.

Tournament organizer and Meadowdale head coach Andy Streit said that they will also be tweeting out scores and pictures at
