MONROE -- A Sultan man and his young daughter were hospitalized Monday night after his pickup truck rolled over in Monroe.

The crash happened about 7:45 p.m. along eastbound Highway 522 in Monroe, police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.

The truck somehow crossed the center line, went over a barrier and rolled down a dirt embankment, Willis said.

The man, 32, and his daughter, 6, both were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Information about their injuries has not been released. Both were in stable condition Monday evening. Monroe police are investigating.
