Arrest in Hazel Dell bank robbery

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Authorities have arrested a man in north Portland after a bank robbery in Hazel Dell, Wash., a carjacking and car chases through Hazel Dell, Vancouver and across the Columbia River into Oregon.

Clark County, Wash., sheriff's Sgt. Fred Neiman said a man robbed the Riverview Community Bank on Wednesday afternoon, then fled in a black Toyota SUV. Neiman said deputies chased that vehicle through Hazel Dell and Vancouver. The man eventually stole a Ford Focus and made his way to Portland.

Neiman said Brent J. Woodall, 29, of Vancouver, was arrested.
