Republicans in 32nd can’t match Democrats’ money

Republicans have two opponents for Democratic 32nd District State Rep. Ruth Kagi and one for Democratic Rep Cindy Ryu, but none of the Republicans will be able to match the Democrats in fundraising or spending.
Ryu will meet Republican Randy Hayden in the primary, with both advancing to the general election.
Kagi will face Republicans Robert Reedy and Eric Alvey in the primary, with the top two vote getters advancing to the general election.
Ryu has raised $54,724 and spent $17,994. Kagi has raised $31,049 and spent $10,215. None of the Republicans have reported any campaign fundraising or spending.
The district includes Lynnwood, part of Mountlake Terrace, Woodway, south Edmonds, nearby unincorporated areas of Snohomish County, Shoreline and northwest Seattle.
