Yoda in LEGO captures imaginations at Lynnwood mall

In celebration of the grand opening of the LEGO store at the Mall, LEGO Master Builder Paul Chrzan was there on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday constructing a massive 8-foot-tall LEGO Yoda model and Yoda Hut.

Zachary Andaya, 3, of Lynnwood, looks warily up at the smaller of the two LEGO Yodas on display at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood on Sunday. In celebration of the grand opening of the LEGO store at the Mall, LEGO Master Builder Paul Chrzan was there constructing a massive 8-foot-tall LEGO Yoda model and Yoda Hut. People had the opportunity to construct small blocks out of LEGOS which Chrzan then added to the larger LEGO models. The LEGO Yoda, finished during the day Sunday, was then taken apart piece by piece Sunday evening.

LEGO Master Builder Paul Chrzan hammers blocks of LEGOs into place as he constructs the Yoda Hut on display at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood on Sunday. Chrzan made an 8-foot-tall LEGO Yoda over the weekend as well. Chrzan was there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday working on the LEGO models, which were on display in celebration of the grand opening of the LEGO store at the mall.
