Deputy Mike Northway was shot four times in the arms and legs. Sheriff's Deputy Craig Chamberlin said Monday that the 42-year-old Northway remains hospitalized but has been released from the intensive care unit and has done some walking.
Deputy Matt Spink was shot once in a leg. The 45-year-old was released from a hospital last Friday.
The two were shot June 19 by 41-year-old Charles Robert Wallace after narcotics agents asked the deputies to stop a vehicle in which Wallace was riding.
Wallace then stole a car from an elderly woman before engaging in a wild rolling gunfight that ended when he shot himself to death in the community of Deer Park.
Spokane police said Wallace also fired at city police Detective Tim Madsen but missed.
