Whidbey man who died in crash identified

EVERETT -- A Freeland man killed in a car accident Saturday in Everett has been identified as Mitchell S. Casey, 28.
The cause and manner of his death remain under investigation by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office.
Everett police are investigating the crash.
It happened around 3 p.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of Broadway, where a bridge takes the road over an I-5 onramp.
Police believe Casey missed a turn and struck a barrier.
He was taken to a local hospital where he died. No other vehicles were involved.
