Thanks to the efforts of Bud and Dave Haines and others at K&H Printers, an art and photography show generated more than $3,000 to help Everett Community College replace its fire-destroyed collection. More than 400 people took part in a "Victory Celebration Wine-Tasting" party at the new K&H Graphics Center.

In another benefit, more than 200 young people took part in a recent "Prime of Your Life Prom" at the Everett Elks club to raise some $2,000 to benefit children's services at the Providence Sexual Assault Center in Everett.
