EVERETT -- If you're looking to jazz up your lunch breaks this summer, consider strolling over to Snohomish County's government buildings for some live music.
Local rock, pop/folk, bluegrass and jazz bands are scheduled to play outside the county offices every Wednesday, starting July 11. It's part of the county's yearly Music on the Plaza series running through Aug. 29.
While the music's a thumpin', you can munch on a hotdog or kettle corn from Comcast Arena Grill. Flower vendors will be on hand as well.
The venue is the amphitheater at Rockefeller Avenue and Wall Street. Performances generally last from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
For more information, call county tourism coordinator Jessica Voelker at 425-388-3139.
