Clearview vacation Bible school: Clearview Foursquare Church will hold a vacation Bible school, "Babylon, Daniel's Courage in Captivity," 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. July 9-13. The sessions are for children ages 5 through sixth grade, but older kids are welcome to help. Parents welcome but not required to stay. Included will be a "tour" of ancient Babylon, featuring the great palace of Daniel, outdoor water games, creation of musical instruments, and sampling of exotic foods. Jehovah's Witnesses convention: "Safeguard Your Heart" is the topic of a three-day Jehovah's Witnesses district convention that began Friday at the Tacoma Dome. Events continue today and Sunday, both days starting at 9:20 a.m. The convention is the first of three Jehovah's Witnesses events at the Tacoma Dome. The others are scheduled for July 6-8 and July 13-15, with all events starting at 9:20 a.m. Strengthening spirituality will be the focus of the programs, which include dramatic Bible readings, a play, and discussions. Unity topic: "Remembering Wholeness" is the title of a lesson Susan Marshall will present at 10 a.m. Sunday at Everett Unity Church of Positive Living. Her message is about spiritual identity based on the teachings of Jesus, science and Charles Fillmore, a co-founder of the Unity School of Christianity.
