EVERETT -- An Everett woman wasn't seriously injured after crashing her car into a power pole Thursday morning.

The wreck happened about 6:45 a.m. near the intersection of Federal Avenue and E. Mukilteo Boulevard, said officer Aaron Snell, Everett police spokesman.

The woman, 52, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Traffic was rerouted while utility crews fixed the power lines.

Police believe the woman may have been drinking, Snell said. The crash remains under investigation.
