The Wenatchee World reported that the fire started Thursday afternoon and quickly grew to about 100 acres.
More than 10 miles of 97A were affected for several hours. Much of the Navarre Coulee Road was also affected.
Brant Stanger of the Central Washington Interagency Communications Center said no homes or buildings are threatened.
