EVERETT -- No one was seriously injured Friday afternoon after a car struck an ambulance in south Everett.

The crash happened about 4 p.m. in the area of 112th Street SE and Seventh Avenue SE, said officer Aaron Snell, Everett police spokesman.

The ambulance was headed to another accident nearby, where a car had struck a bicyclist.

The bicyclist suffered minor injuries, Snell said.

Everett police were investigating.
