TACOMA -- A Tacoma middle school teacher accused of having sex with a 12-year-old student at school and his home pleaded not guilty Friday to child rape charges.

KIRO-TV reported that bail for 33-year-old Keshia Shaw was set at $75,000 and she was ordered to have no contact with minors other than her own two children.

Pierce County prosecutors accuse Shaw of having sex with the boy five years ago when she was a sixth-grade teacher at Gray Middle School. After he heard a church sermon about reporting molestation, the boy, now 17, told his mother he had been abused.

Shaw has been placed on paid leave.
