People wakened by the thunderstorm that rolled through the region overnight could have the same thing happen again tonight.
The National Weather Service says there’s a 30 percent chance for a second thunderstorm to form in the Cascades and roll through the mountains in Snohomish County.
A storm started Sunday night in the Reiter Foothills and spread over Snohomish County and the region in the early hours of Monday morning.
It brought less than 1/10th of an inch of rainfall, meteorologist Jay Neher said.
But the lightning lit up the sky and brought out photographers to catch the spectacle.
