SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish-area man was seriously injured Monday after being thrown from his tractor.
The accident happened about 10:30 a.m. as the man was doing yardwork at his home along Dubuque Road, said Bruce Keaton, a battalion chief with Snohomish County Fire District 4 in Snohomish.
The tractor apparently snagged on a tree and rolled over, Keaton said. The man, who appeared to be in his early 50s, was thrown into a ditch.
The man was taken via helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
