SAMMAMISH -- A King County sheriff's spokeswoman said three people were hurt when a car crashed into a Starbucks store in the Seattle suburb of Sammamish.

Sgt. Cindi West said two of those injured late Monday afternoon were treated at the scene. A third person was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

West said the driver told deputies her foot got caught between the gas and brake pedal and the car jumped forward.
