Police warn of sex offender moving to Machias

MACHIAS -- Police are warning neighbors about a convicted sex offender who will be living in the Machias area.
Earl Franklin Bogart, 52, is expected to live in the 400 block of Beach Drive, east of Lake Stevens.
Bogart is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.
Bogart was convicted of third-degree rape in 2008.
He is described as white, with red-brown hair and blue eyes. He is about 5-foot-4 and 170 pounds.
