BRIER -- A police pursuit in the Brier area on Wednesday apparently started with a burglary.

The trouble started about 2:30 p.m. in the 23000 block of 27th Place W., Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

A neighbor reported a burglary happening at a home there.

As Brier police arrived, three suspects got into a vehicle and drove off toward Bothell.

They clipped another vehicle and caused it to crash, Ireton said. It wasn't immediately known if people in that vehicle were injured.

The suspects abandoned the car along Locust Way in the Bothell area. Police arrested two women and were looking for a man Wednesday evening.

Police responded from Snohomish and King counties, Ireton said. The getaway car turned out to be stolen.

Additional details weren't available as of press time.
