Expect whiskey-soaked country singer Gary Allan to play some new material during a stop at the Tulalip Amphitheatre this Saturday.
Allan has been recording the follow-up to 2010's "Get Off on the Pain," which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200. He has described his newest songs as the most rocking he's ever done -- this from a man who cut his teeth on the rowdy honky tonk circuit.
It's safe to say you'll be standing up often when he takes the stage at Tulalip.

Tulalip isn't the only venue bringing in big names. Another string of shows will draw crowds to the Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville.
Earth, Wind and Fire will take the stage Friday night for a sold-out show. The funk band scored a string of hits, such as "Shining Star," in the 1970s.
The group headlines the winery's amphitheater Friday night. Tickets are sold out, but call the winery at 425-488-1133 to see if last-minute seating becomes available.

He most recently released the 2011 album "Beyond the Sun," a collection of covers that pay homage to Sun Records, the home of Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis, among many others.
While Isaak has never won a Grammy, his opening act has.
In fact, Shawn Colvin has three of them: She's won best contemporary folk recording, and also the two biggest Grammy awards: Song of the Year and Record of the Year, both for the hit "Sunny Came Home."
