LONGVIEW -- Everyone who sees the duck with a blow dart in its neck on Lake Sacajawea near Longview wants to help.
But the duck can still swim and fly, and it flies away whenever anyone approaches too close.
Longview Parks Supervisor Curt Nedved told The Daily News that people have been calling the city since June 20 about the duck. Workers with the city and the Humane Society have tried multiple times to chase it down from one side of the lake to the other.
They're still trying.
