Prolific mystery writer J.A. Jance is touring the area this week with the newest in her Sheriff Joanna Brady series, “Judgment Call.”
In this 15th book in the Brady series, the intrepid sheriff of Bisbee, Ariz., tracks a serial killer whose grisly murders hit close to home and the murder scenes go viral.
Jance, who splits her time between Seattle and Tucson, has two other detectives in her series arsenal, J.P. Beaumont and Ali Reynolds, along with other novels.
Meet Jance as she talks about her craft from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday as part of the Everett Public Library’s Adult Summer Reading Program. The book will be for sale and Jance will sign copies after the talk. It lists at $25.99.
