Time travel: The Silvana Fair feels like old times, and that’s by design. See kids’ exhibits of cows, sheep, goats, dogs, pigs, chickens, ducks and rabbits. There are also classic displays of antique tractors and tables inside Viking Hall covered with jars of home-canned fruits and vegetables, baskets of fresh eggs and Silvana-sized vegetables. One thing is new: a tractor pull. The fair is Saturday only. Read more about it here.

Take the Tour: The Tour de Terrace kicks off Friday evening with a parade in Mountlake Terrace. It includes the Seafair Pirates and Clowns, Lake City Western Vigilantes, drill teams, dancers, floats, trucks and classic cars. The fun continues with events and fireworks all weekend.
