MONROE -- Police are asking for help finding a man who robbed a Monroe bank Monday morning.
The robbery was reported just before 10:30 a.m. at the Washington Federal bank along U.S. 2, police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
A man wearing a mask pointed a handgun at the tellers, demanded money and left on a bike, Willis said. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7 with a thin build. He was wearing a camouflage-print, long-sleeved sweatshirt and blue jeans. He had an accent, but it wasn't immediately known what kind, Willis said.
Investigators searched the area with a police dog. Anyone with information is asked to call 360-794-6300. Anonymous tips can be left at 360-863-4600.
