SEATTLE -- About 20 people have gathered outside the federal Court House in Seattle where a grand jury is reportedly meeting in an investigation of anarchist activity in Portland and May Day vandalism in Seattle.
Members of the group outside the courthouse told KOMO Radio they were supporting people who were raided in Portland.
Portland residents Dennison Williams and Leah-Lynn Plante posted a statement online Wednesday saying they were subpoenaed to testify Thursday and would only give their names. The Oregonian reported FBI agents raided their home July 25 and took a computer, cellphone and black clothing.
The Seattle Times reported that the grand jury also is hearing about evidence police seized at an apartment used by Occupy Seattle members in a July raid related to May Day violence.
